Egg-cellent Easter Events
We had such an eggcellent time this week! From decorating Humpty Dumpties, rolling them down the bank to see what would happen and whether they would crack like Humpty Dumpty did in our rhyme, to helping Mrs Hickety Pickety Hen after she got lost on her spring walk and lost all of her eggs. We did an amazing job. Hickety Pickety was so pleased and even gave us each a chocolate reward!
We were very lucky today to enjoy a virtual visit with American children’s book author Sue Fliess!
Sue is the author of over 35 books for children. She read her book to us called SADIE SPROCKET BUILDS A ROCKET and we got to ask her questions too! The children really enjoyed the visit and we hope to have more interactions like that in the future. Talk about the author visit with your child—it’s a great way to encourage reading and writing in the classroom and at home. If you’d like to read more about Sue and see her other books, please visit www.suefliess.com

Morning! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday.
It is such a shame that we can not all currently be in school. We are going to miss seeing everyone over the next few weeks, but hope that you enjoy completing the activities we provide on Google Classroom. Attached is a copy of the activity suggestions for this week, based on our 'Winter' topic. Please access 'Acorns Google Classroom' with your personal login details for the weekly activity suggestions, daily activities and resources.
If you have any queries do email us via 'firstname.lastname@example.org'.
Take care and stay safe.
