Spring 1

We started the term with a topic about Winter and we read One Snowy Night. As part of this, we talked about animals hibernating through the winter and we had a visit from Diane and Rhubarb from Prickly Pigs. 

We then learnt about vehicles and transport and we are finishing the half term learning about people who help us and we have some exciting visitors coming to help us learn about different jobs people do. 

In phonics, we are learning about sounds we can make with our voices, rhyme, rhythm, and alliteration. 

In maths, we are learning about patterns (spotting and making), counting and matching shapes and things we have built.
