Tony Wild, the president of Otley Cycle Club, came to Ashfield today to ceremonially open our cycle shelter. The children travelled to Leeds Central Library to work with Richard Priestly, the director of Wordsemble Theatre. They read extracts from the 3 shortlisted books in the Key Stage 1 category: The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures, I am Nefertitti and Five Bears.
