We were lucky enough to have been visited by Solar for Schools. 

We took part in an assembly and workshop to develop an understanding of climate change, why we need to move away from fossil fuels, how solar works and highlight the positives of the system in our school. 

The children really enjoyed creating circuits with solar and wind power to light up an LED, sound a buzzer and make a motor spin. We also created a mega circuit using all of our equipment and holding each other's hands!
