Beech Spring

Beech Class are developing their speech writing skills this term as we read the 'Stone Age Boy'. They have mastered learning the Inverted Commas song, and they are now putting it to good use!

In the next coming weeks, the children will be writing their own version of the 'Stone Age Boy'.

Crawling through ancient tombs

Beech class became archaeologists and crawled through Ancient Egyptian Tombs to find artefacts. We all had an amazing time experiencing how dark and scary tombs such as King Tut's may have been.

More photos are in Beech photographs 'Spring' folder.

Creating ancient Egyptian death masks

Beech class have been exploring sketching and shading techniques using pastels in Art this term. They have explored the work of Kilmt and how they use shapes to colour in their work.

For their final piece, they used their knowledge they had gained to create some amazing portraits of death masks.

Times Tables Using Number lines!

The children in Beech class this week have started to develop their times tables skills.

We have explored how we can work out our multiples by using number lines and counting our jumps.
