Physical Education Intent Statement:

Active/ Teamwork/ Resilience

At Ashfield, we promote a love of physical activity through a fun, challenging and engaging curriculum that encourages all children to adopt a healthy and active life style. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves and self motivate, choosing the challenges that are appropriate for their current ability, ensuring good progress. Our curriculum (Real P.E alongside sport specific lessons) encourages teamwork, co-operation and resilience which builds on core and fundamental skills that will encourage children to be confident in all aspects of their immediate and future lives.

8/3/23 Girls Football League. Match against St Pauls. Ashfield 2 - 1 St Pauls. Ashfield 0 - 5 St Pauls.

Leeds Cross Country Finalists!!!

Congratulations to Sofia, Thomas and Lillia who all qualified as a 'wildcard' for the Leeds Cross Country Finals. What a fantastic achievement! Sofia has secured a place to represent West Yorkshire after placing 10th in her race!
