Beech Spring
Crawling through Ancient EGYPTIAN tombs in history
Beech class became archaeologists and discovered artefacts which helped us to know what Ancient Egypt was like. The tombs were very dark but everyone did so well!
Mummified tomatoes!
Beech have continued to explore Ancient Egypt in History. This week, we looked at how the mummification process works. We created our own Natron Salt and placed an apple and a tomato in them. We left them for a week and the results were fascinating! Have a look for yourself!
Explanation Text-the street beneath my feet
We have started to look at the book 'The Street Beneath My Feet' in English. Our aim is to create an explanation text that will look at what lies beneath our feet. We will think about rocks, fossils and other creatures that lie beneath.
Feel free to get your child thinking about what they think lies beneath!
Children's mental health week
Recently, it has been Children's Mental Health Week. Alongside, Beech class did many activities that helped them to look after their mental health. These activities included supermovers, yoga with Acorns, mindful breathing and colouring and a nature walk.
Pictures to come.
